REA PC - Scan
The measuring device is a motor controlled precision unit with a red light junction laser. The evaluation software is Windows based and autodiscriminates between the symbologies. The PC-Scan verifies whether the measuring values which have been determined correspond to the industry standards and specifications for each symbology.
Visible on the screen are the full Traditional readings (bar by bar measurements, print contrast symbol, light margin, infringements and check character errors) plus full CEN/ANSI evaluation including the Scan Reflectance Profile (decode, symbol contrast, edge contrast, modulation, R min, R max, Defects, decodability).

The REA PC-Scan is ideal for the verification of original artwork (negatives, positives and bromides) and printed symbols. It works to both traditional and CEN/ANSI quality standards on a Windows based PC.
